In 2007 Taglich Brothers Private Equity Group purchased two light industrial offices in the Midwest, forming the foundation of BG Staffing, Inc. Although the offices maintained a strong client base, the desire of the investors was to expand the company in multiple areas of the staffing industry, offering clients the ability to work with one company for all their staffing needs.
In 2009, industry expert L. Allen Baker Jr. was brought in as President and CEO to lead the company in growth through acquisition, while maintaining high standards of customer service to existing clients. Mr. Baker’s acquisition philosophy is one that not only brings financial growth, but unique and dedicated talent within the companies. His approach has led to a strong management team, with tenure and a desire to offer exceptional service to candidates, customers and investors.

L. Allen Baker, Jr., President and CEO of BG Staffing, Inc.
Mr. Baker currently serves as President and CEO of BG Staffing, Inc., a national staffing firm with operations in 19 states and headquartered in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
He joined the board of directors of BG Staffing in October 2008 while serving as the Executive Vice President/CFO of a confections manufacturing company in Colorado. During his tenure at the confections manufacturing company, he led in the acquisition and integration of 2 other confection manufacturing companies and spearheaded the exit of the company to a private equity buyer.
He began serving as President and CEO of BG Staffing in April 2009. To date, Mr. Baker has successfully integrated 7 staffing brands under the BG Staffing umbrella. His previous experience includes 17 years in the staffing industry with a national, privately held staffing company headquartered in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, with operations in 43 states.
He has a BS degree in mathematics with a minor in computer information systems from West Texas State University and an MBA from the University of Dallas.
Dan Hollenbach, CFO of BG Staffing, Inc.
Mr. Hollenbach joined the Company in August 2015 with more than 20 years of deep public company and temporary staffing experience, both as Chief Financial Officer and as Operating Division Director. Previous experience includes four years with Robert Half Management Resources and six years of financial leadership with Global Employment Solutions.
Mr. Hollenbach is a CPA and graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Accounting.
Beth Garvey, Chief Operating Officer
Beth Garvey joined the BG Staffing team through the company’s acquisition of InStaff in 2013. Starting at InStaff in 1998 as Director of Human Resources, Garvey quickly rose through the ranks — serving as director of operations, vice president of operations, senior vice president of operations, COO and ultimately CEO upon acquisition.
She was division president of two BG Staffing divisions, InStaff and Donovan & Watkins, until being promoted to chief operating officer of BG Staffing, Inc. in August 2016. She now oversees all four staffing divisions: Commercial, IT, Finance/Accounting and Multifamily.
Adam Tibbetts, VP of Administration
He has a bachelor’s degree in general business with an emphasis in management information systems from Southern Methodist University and an MS from the University of Texas at Dallas.
Jamie Gile, Division President, BG Multifamily
Mr. Gile joined BG Multifamily in 1999 and currently serves as president. Jamie had worked in multiple positions with BG Staffing prior to becoming President in September 2013.
Mr. Gile graduated from Central Missouri State University in 1987 and worked for a Fortune 500 transportation firm in various capacities prior to joining BG Multifamily.
Eric Peters, Donovan & Watkins Division President
With over 20 years of experience, Eric has worked in many staffing verticals, including permanent placement, temporary staffing and project consulting. Eric spent 11 years at Robert Half International (RHI) where he held various roles, including Branch Manager, Regional Vice President of Management Resources and Vice President Salaries Professional Services.
Along with launching various staffing verticals for RHI, Eric was instrumental in integrating Protiviti, the former Arthur Anderson Risk Consulting Practice which RHI acquired.
Moving into the healthcare field, Eric joined Weatherby Healthcare (a CHG company) where he held the position of Director and took responsibility for the growth and profitability of Weatherby’s physician placement in the locums tenens space. For the last three years, Eric oversaw North and South America for Faststream Recruitment Inc., the world’s largest Maritime and Marine staffing firm.
Dave McIntyre, IT Division President
Mr. McIntyre Joined the company in March of 2013. Dave has a strong technology and business background and has spent the last 20 years in various sales and management positions in the software and staffing industry. He brings a unique perspective to IT staffing, having been a consultant, managed consultants, been responsible for hiring consultants, as well as selling consulting services throughout his career. Most recently, Dave lead a technology focused staffing team (Oracle-Hyperion) at American Partners in our Rhode Island office.
Prior to joining American partners, Dave held various executive roles at a large software company. These roles included World Wide Vice President of Sales, Vice President of Asia Pacific, and Business unit executive responsible for successfully leading two global business units. Dave also spent almost three years as an expat in Asia helping to drive new business as well as integrate and grow acquired organizations.
Dave has a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from Babson College.
