New Office Location Provides Training Space for Employees, Members of the IT Community
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – On Monday, Dec. 17, eight young professionals will complete a Project Management Professional Boot Camp training course at Zycron’s new headquarters.
The eight-week training program began on Monday, Oct. 29, and is facilitated by Zycron’s IT Governance Practice Director Larry Wilson.
The PMP Boot Camp Training is offered to provide students with a comprehensive introduction to the content of the Project Management Institute’s PMP Examination. The course also offers best practices in preparation for taking the exam. The prestigious and high demand training is offered at a reduced rate to Black Data Processing Associates membership and IT industry colleagues.
“We have a group of sharp young professionals from a variety of disciplines in the Nashville community who are taking a huge step in advancing their careers in project management,” Wilson said. “Zycron is pleased to partner with BDPA to offer this training. Project management is a skill that is in high demand across a number of industries.”
This is the first time Zycron and BDPA have joined efforts to offer the course in Middle Tennessee. However, Wilson, a 35-year veteran in the information technology industry, has facilitated two previous courses for Zycron and has a 100 percent success rate of his students passing the PMI certification exam. He has received industry recognition for project management from Innotas, Nashville Technology Council and Info World’s Top 100 projects.
Zycron, a local information technology firm that is celebrating 21 years in the Nashville community, recently relocated its headquarters to a new facility at 413 Welshwood Drive. The new location not only offers more square footage (11,300 sq. ft.) for the employees working in the corporate office, but it also lends itself to host employee and community training for career advancement.
