LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Tri-State Minority Supplier Development Council in Louisville, Ky., last night named Zycron Supplier of the Year at its annual Agave Awards.
The award recognizes minority supplier excellence and Zycron was one of 26 companies nominated. Zycron was nominated by a TSMSDC corporate member and was selected as the Class 3 Winner (with annual sales between $10 and $50 million).
TSMSDC is one of 36 councils nationally that link corporations with minority-owned businesses.
“We are honored to receive this recognition and are privileged to have a great partnership with TSMSDC,” said Stephanie Woodard-Majors, Chief Operations Officer of Zycron. “Zycron initially made contact with one of its global customers through TSMSDC in 2007. Today we are cultivating our partnership with the council and courting companies in the Tri-State area of Kentucky, West Virginia and south central Indiana.”
