NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Black Enterprise Magazine ranked Zycron number 76 (up 10 positions from last year’s ranking of 86) among industrial/service companies on this year’s BE 100s list. The 2012 BE 100s list marks the 40th annual report on the nation’s largest black businesses.
Black Enterprise selected their BE 100s based on revenues from 2011, the same year Zycron celebrated its 20th anniversary in the information technology industry. Other companies that appear on the list include Oprah Winfrey’s multimedia powerhouse Harpo, Inc. and Linda Johnson Rice’s Johnson Publishing Co., Inc. The full list can be viewed by clicking here.
“It’s always humbling to garner recognition from industry journals and well-respected publications,” said Zycron Executive Chairman Darrell S. Freeman, Sr. “But our greatest privilege is to provide excellent customer service to our clients and create a positive economic impact in the communities in which we are located.”
The BE 100s also lists the largest black-owned businesses in advertising, auto dealers, and financial services companies in America, as reported by Black Enterprise Magazine, a national publication that since 1970 has been considered the premier business, investing, and wealth-building resource for African Americans.
