NASHVILLE, Tenn. Zycron, Inc. today announced its selection by the State of Tennessee as a primary vendor to provide information technology services for the State. The contract has a length of three years and allows for two, one-year extensions at the State’s discretion.
Zycron will support the State in IT staff augmentation and project management. This work can include facilitating all phases of a project such as software development or purchases, installations, implementations, and aspects of hardware configuration needs. Employees of the State of Tennessee rely on its information technology system to streamline processes, increase productivity, and provide services to the State’s nearly 6 million citizens.

This contract initiates Zycron’s state government services portfolio managed by Smith who has more than 21 years of leadership experience in the IT consulting industry. Smith joined Zycron in 2007 and is expected to lead Zycron’s growth strategy to $100 million in the next seven to 10 years.
Zycron this year partnered with Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. on a $156 million contract with the Tennessee Bureau of TennCare for the TennCare Management Information System (TCMIS). Zycron also has several other current government IT contracts in Tennessee including: Nashville Electric Service, Memphis Light Gas & Water, and Tennessee Valley Authority.
